Our Vacancies
New /Recent Graduate Veterinary Surgeon, Plymouth
The time is right for us to offer a 2025/2026 graduate vet surgeon a job. We envisage a two year commitment. You bring your medical knowledge and experience gained through EMS and we will mentor you while you gain clinical case exposure and help coach you in the softer skills of managing expectations, valuing the skill you have and communicating effectively. We believe we have the perfect clinic to allow you to learn through our emphasis on providing continuity of care as you experience how cases develop and respond to the treatment plan you implement.
We work to a high clinical standard in a first opinion setting and have strong relationships with both referral clinics and peripatetic visiting certificate holder as well as with our clients.
Here at It’s the VETS, Plympton you will be encouraged to grow your daily caseload as your confidence and experience grows. Through regular 1-2-1 mentoring we can build your clinical exposure at a suitable rate but equally we need someone who will take the initiative with identifying their knowledge gaps, ask for help when they need it and take responsibility for driving their learning curve.
We are a compact team who work collaboratively. Each member of the team has knowledge which we all benefit from. We are 1.5 FTE vets, 3 RVNs, 2 receptionists and 2 PT VCAs.
