Part Time GP Vet
Part Time GP Veterinary Surgeon needed to expand our small yet supportive team.
We are looking for a veterinary surgeon with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in the UK for our established, independent clinic which has grown steadily year on year through word of mouth alone. Package details - Salary £50-75 (FTE) pro rata DOE, plus pension, private healthcare, relocation expenses if required, RCVS and BSAVA subs, CPD funding, 6 weeks annual leave. What we have for you:
- Minimum 20 hours a week
- Flexible on which days and how many hours, but would like a fixed weekly schedule to facilitate continuity of care
- Superb first opinion small animal practice with an established network of secondary care providers, both on site and in the locality.
- No OOH or on call requirement
- Clinic opening hours 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 9am to midday
- No branches, single site with everything we need to hand
- Loyal and supportive clients, because we listen and provide a consistently good level of service and experience – whatever the outcome.
- Clinical freedom and contextualised care – we have always had exactly this approach to our patients and their owners
- No targets- we believe this is completely counterintuitive in medicine. Just do your best by each patient and we will support you to be able to deliver a good standard of clinical care
- Can accommodate those with an existing area of interest (medicine, imaging etc). Likewise, more than happy for you to find a niche here and take that to the next level – what’s good for you is good for our patients too!
- Experienced and proactive team: 3 RVNs, 2 receptionists, 1 slightly creaky vet and a practice cleaner to make sure it all always looks great
- Supportive clinic owners who make sure all equipment and premises is in tip top working order and you are too!

Full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse – Its The Vets, Plympton
Its The Vets in Plympton is looking for a full-time RVN to join and help grow our small, supportive team.
This is a hands-on role for an RVN who enjoys involvement in all areas of clinical practice. We’re an established independent clinic that has grown steadily year on year through word of mouth alone.
Package
- Salary: £30,000–£34,000 DOE
- Pension
- RCVS fees paid
- CPD funding
- 5.8 weeks’ annual leave
What we offer
- A superb first-opinion small animal practice with an established network of secondary care providers, both on site and locally
- No OOH or on-call
- Opening hours: 8am–6pm Monday to Friday, 9am–12pm Saturday
- RVNs work 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per day with a 30-minute lunch break, plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am–12pm)
- Shift pattern: early 07:45–16:15, late 10:00–18:30
- Single-site practice – no branches, everything you need on hand
